Getting Started
As we begin this chapter on getting started with AutoCAD, I'm reminded of a quote by Lao-Tzu: “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” In much the same way, learning AutoCAD is something anyone can do by taking it one step at a time. And I promise AutoCAD is much easier than walking a thousand miles! Congratulations if you are reading this: You are now on your way. By the end of this book, you will have a solid understanding of AutoCAD.
