Balance Services and Budget

How do you start to identify services and develop your budget? Begin by gathering data from your leadership to understand which strategic initiatives you will support with services. To fill in the rest, you will likely use a needs assessment. You will have many more options than you will likely be able to support. That’s where the budget comes into play. The more services you’d like to offer, the more resources you’ll need, and the higher your budget climbs.

You are a trusted advisor to your leaders, who expect you to constantly balance what you deliver to your learners with the cost of what it takes to design and deliver the highest-quality services possible that meet organizational requirements.
