An editor’s most critical relationship is with the director. This chapter explores the working methodologies, social interaction and the development of a deep sense of trust that is necessary in a healthy collaborative environment.
One of the key elements of this collaboration is reliance on a personal connection, an ability to navigate the political environment and an understanding of the need for social skills.
