PROJECT TWELVE

JUMPING CHILD

Drawing a portrait can be very challenging for any artist. A person makes a very effective subject for a three-dimensional image as long as you get the techniques right. The two most important things to accomplish are getting the proportions right and creating a painting with the realism of a photo. In this project, you’ll paint a jumping boy who should look like he’s floating in air rather than standing on the page.
