THIS PROJECT FORMS the hub of the Evil Genius’ home automation system. It is the main control system for many of the projects in this book.
Lair Automation is a big deal for the Evil Genius, who likes to remotely control the lights, power sockets, and heating, and even control access to the front door from wherever he is in the world. So, in the event of unexpected visits from out-of-town Evil Genius friends, he can turn up the heating and unlock the door, without having to leave the comfort of his couch. He finds this so much easier than barking orders at his minions.
