Before you can begin to explore the ASP.NET framework, we have some preparation to do. In the next three chapters, I’ll describe the structure of the book, show you how to set up your workstation and server for ASP.NET development, and provide a high-level overview of how the various parts of the ASP.NET framework fit together.
