A phone is a communication device; that’s easy to understand. The iPhone broadened our understanding of what a phone can do by enabling us to send text messages, take part in video calls and conferences, and participate in social networks like Twitter and Facebook. So how does the Apple Watch fit in? Surprisingly, the Apple Watch is almost as communicative as the iPhone, incorporating text and audio messages via the Messages app and even making and receiving phone calls. It also adds something new: Digital Touch. You can even use your watch to find your friends.
