Next Steps

In this chapter, you got to play around with the SKLabelNode class as you added labels to the game scene to display the player’s current level and score, complete with a custom font, which you added to the project. You also saw what it took to use the NSAttributedString class with an SkLabelNode object, and you even dipped your toes into the logic of the game loop.

In the next chapter, you’ll continue building Gloop Drop by adding a little juice to the game like particle effects, visual effects, and of course, music and sound.
