3D Animation in a 2D Environment
Animation is basically one trick after another. Whatever it takes to get your vision on screen is the right way. Regardless of the software, whatever you produce will finally be judged on its appeal and quality. So the first thing you should know about 3D and Flash is that there is no 3D in Flash. So, to attempt to make things look 3D in Flash you need to fake it.
You have three options: creating a real 3D scene in a program outside of Flash and bringing in a pre-rendered 3D animation which is to be displayed frame-by-frame as though a movie.
