Android has at one time or another been labeled as a difficult system to work with due to the fragmentation of the system. While detractors to the platform are quick to point out the potential flaws of working with a myriad of devices and hardware platforms, part of the strength of Android is the abundance of APIs and libraries available to back up, restore, and synchronize data. This allows users to move from one device to another without missing their information and applications.
