10.Playing to your strengths
This chapter deals with assessing and understanding the current strengths of a service-driven organisation, and how doing this can help develop the business in the pursuit of new opportunities. This process is analagous with maturity models, against which organisations benchmark themselves to both assess their current state of development and identify the next steps towards higher levels of achievement. It addresses the consideration of the practice as a whole, outside of a specific procurement, and offers a range of models to assist in self-assessment and planning for growth.
