Just how important is agility? According to Gallup’s research published in 2019 “Organizations that aren’t agile and that don’t have the capacity to adapt quickly will be overcome by their competitors—or put out of business.”1 In its 2019 Global CEO Outlook titled Agile or Irrelevant: Redefining Resilience, the consulting firm KPMG concluded: “A successful CEO is an agile CEO. Over two-thirds of chief executive officers believe that agility is the new currency of business.
