Continuing the Agile Working Journey
The new way of working should be fully sustainable as technology and facilities evolve, and people are recruited or move on. Within an organization, some employees are likely to rotate through a number of different roles as their career develops and they may be assigned different work-styles that reflect their new positions.
Of course, this does not mean that the practices associated with what were new ways of working are frozen forever. Organizations should adopt a policy of continuous improvement. In many ways, agile working can be regarded as a journey, but the essential philosophy/concept of employee autonomy within necessary constraints should endure.
