A. Working with Raw Format
One of the exciting features of Photoshop Elements is the ability to import and work with Raw format images using the Camera Raw plug-in. While Raw is the image format of choice for professionals, many digital photographers either can’t or don’t use it. It was for this reason that I chose to make this section an appendix rather than a chapter in the mainstream of the book. If you aren’t familiar with the Raw format, the first part of this appendix begins by explaining what the Raw format is, and the advantages of using it.
