The Footage Panel
Double-click on an asset in the Project panel to reveal it in the Footage panel. This is a great way to see what the asset looks like on its own, preview video contents, and set In and Out points to designate sections of a video that you want to use, and ignore moments you don’t. Premiere users will find this panel analogous to the Source Monitor.
