Chapter 14. Working with Data
Most administrators are used to relying on Windows Explorer to manage files on their system. However, Server Core doesn't provide this option. If you want to create, copy, delete, sort, rename, or perform other tasks with files, you must do it at the command line. Fortunately, you won't find a lack of utilities for performing this task in Server Core. In fact, you may be surprised at the number of ways in which you can interact with files because some of these techniques aren't available in the graphical interface. For example, you won't find a counterpart to the Sort utility in the graphical environment.
