RISK MANAGEMENT
Risk management is the cornerstone of security and can be seen as the predominant force in virtually every organization. There are numerous books and materials that delve into the inner workings and methods related to managing risk. Therefore, within the context of the adaptive security management architecture, any existing risk management program will dovetail directly into the model presented herein. However, given that risk management is part of the model and must work with the other features, it is important that we explore the interconnections that must exist as well as the new role for risk management in the ASMA.
