After reading Chapter 9, “Monitoring ACI Fabric,” you should now be well versed in the various monitoring protocols and techniques that Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) offers. Now, it’s time to examine the configuration steps of each of these management and monitoring protocols and techniques. In ACI, although you can configure policies by using the GUI, the CLI, the REST API, and SDKs, this chapter covers only the GUI method of policy configuration and use of the APIC CLI for verifying configurations.
