If you know the “dial” location of the station
you want to tune to, select the – or + Tune but-
ton with the remote control or your mouse, and
advance to the desired frequency.
If you want to tune “by ear,” you’ll need to select
the Start FM button to begin hearing audio. If
you are not already tuned to a strong FM signal,
you should hear static.
You can also tune in stations by pressing at least
three digits on the remote control’s numeric key-
pad, or by using the – or + Seek buttons on the
screen to automatically advance to the next
strong signal. If you like what you hear, select
Save to store the station in the next available
preset location.
Using Presets
Nine preset locations are available. If you try to exceed that number, Radio will indi-
cate that you need to make some room before you can store additional stations (see
Figure 15.4).

tip
Another way to navigate
the FM dial with your
remote is to use the Ch+
and Ch- buttons to tune up
or down to the next dial
position. If you are in the
United States, pressing the
channel button will scroll up or
down in increments of 0.2 mega-
hertz (MHz). In other countries,
you’ll be able to move in 0.1MHZ
increments.

When you
exceed the num-
ber of preset
slots, you’ll have
to delete one
before you can
add another.
