To Lead, To Serve: Society as Well as Business

The hospitality industry does play a key social role in being a major pillar in society, in the communities that it serves, and in the multiracial multi­cultural teams that it employs. It is one of the major employers across most societies and plays a highly influential role both within the majority of economies and societies across the world.

There will be many who do not fully agree with the need to lead and serve both business as well as having a social role, but there is a growing belief that this is important.
