Chapter 17: Residential Security System Example Using the Object-Oriented Systems Engineering Method
Abstract
Chapter 17 describes the application of SysML to the development of a residential security system using the Object-Oriented Systems Engineering Method (OOSEM). It demonstrates how SysML can be used with a top-down, scenario-driven process to analyze, specify, design, and verify the system. The intent of this chapter is to provide a robust model-based system specification and design method that readers can adapt to their application domain to meet their needs.
