Records Management Surveys

The record survey is the primary source of information necessary to develop classification schemes, to associate retention schedules, and to understand one’s organization. These surveys will also capture the information needed for our gap analysis, risk assessment, and vital records documents. These surveys consist of interviewing appropriate staff.

Essential elements of our approach are as follows:

Data collection: It includes record types, activity patterns, and other related information.
