Measuring the Performance of Small Events

Key Idea: Autonomous improvement often occurs as a result of many small changes or as a result of a big change accomplished through many small contributions. Small changes and small contributions to big changes need to be measured differently from the traditional big-event changes measured by existing measurement practices.
