Cursor Position

Select this option if the cursor will always be at a specific point on the screen.

When you select this option and click Next (see Figure 7-12), you are asked for

more information about the cursor position on the Cursor Position Recognition

panel, as shown in Figure 7-13 on page 217.

Use this panel to define the cursor position you want your Integration Object to

recognize.

Host Publisher lists the initial position: the current row (number of lines from the

top of the screen) and column (number of spaces from the left of the screen), but

you can change the values (see Figure 7-13).

If you want, you can specify more details of your recognition in the Options field:

selecting whether or not Host Publisher should match the criteria you have

chosen before, or whether or not these criteria are optional.

Click Next to continue.

Click Back to change the criteria for the screen recognition.

Select this option if you want to recognize your screen using colors or

comparison, as follows:

Color at Cursor Position

Select this option if the cursor will always be of a specific color on the screen.

When you select this choice and click Next (see Figure 7-14), you are asked

for more information about the color at cursor position in the Color at Cursor

Position Recognition panel, as shown in Figure 7-15 on page 219.

Use this panel to define the color at cursor position you want your Integration

Object to recognize.

Host Publisher lists:

– Coordinates: the current row (number of lines from the top of the screen)

and column (number of spaces from the left of the screen)

– Colors: the background and foreground colors

You can change any of these values (see Figure 7-15).

If you want, you can specify more details of your recognition in the Options

field: selecting whether or not Host Publisher should match the criteria you

have chosen before, or whether or not these criteria are optional.

Compare region to value

Select this option if you want to compare a specific region on your screen to a

specific value.

When you select this option and click Next (see Figure 7-14 on page 218),

you are asked for more information about the region in the Define Region

panel, as shown in Figure 7-16 on page 220.

You have to draw a box around the region you want to compare or type the

region coordinates to specify the region.

Click Next; you will then be asked to select the information about the value

you want to compare to the region in the Define Comparison panel (see

Figure 7-17 on page 221).
