Emerging Issues in Investor Relations

In a 1963 speech, President John F. Kennedy stated: “Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future” (Kennedy 1963, p. 1). This “law of life” is applicable to investor relations in much the same way that Moore’s Law1 impacts the development of technology and the laws of supply and demand affect economic activity (Moore’s Law and Intel Innovation 1965).
