As compared with the time-tested and well-established titles on the subject matter, the present title, 8051 Microcontroller: Internals, Instructions, Programming and Interfacing, 2nd Edition, might have been considered as yet-another-one type entry. However, the steady growth of yearly sales figure indicates that the effort of the author was well accepted and appreciated by the readers, which was further confirmed by the mails received from different parts of this country.
