In this unit, we learn the basics of Tinkercad, a free, easy-to-use, online computer-aided design (CAD) program for designing objects for 3D printing. The program will help us develop our skills to design and create by modifying 3D basic shapes. We will create more than 20 projects, building on what we learn in each Lab to create objects that are increasingly complex. Let’s get making!
