The world of 3D graphics has dramatically transformed the way we approach the creation of images. Compare sci-fi movies of the 1950s to the visually stunning and believable blockbusters we see today. Long gone are the days when the camera would pick up the strings that held the flying saucer as it flew across the sky. Today, a simple automobile can suddenly transform into a gigantic robot and go running down the street! And look real!
TV commercials have taken on a new life as well. Cars speeding up along a vertical track reaching into the sky would never be attempted save for the fact that the stunts are really being performed by a 3D generated car. Those “scrubby bubbles” never looked so lifelike!
