File Formats
Adobe Photoshop Extended allows import of OBJ, COLLADA, KMZ, 3DS, and U3D files. It allows export of OBJ, COLLADA, KMZ and U3D files. 3DS is not included in the export because it is not a good format to use for interchange due to its limitations for geometry structure. In this appendix we will give a brief overview of each format with its capabilities, and what it’s future is. The chart below illustrates the specific differences in each of the formats.
