Sculpture is one of the most exciting forms to create when you are a child. From an early age, many children take their paper drawings and cut them out and prop them up “to give them legs” in the space around them. Every child loves to construct and create in the round—even with simple materials.
This chapter will guide you through different types of sculpture with good “jumping-off” places to further your exploration. These lessons often include extra time for drying before going on to the next step. Be patient and plan ahead.
