2 TOOLS OF THE TRADE
This chapter provides a master list of things that will make your art making more enjoyable. It is not necessary to have every item before you begin. Just gather what you already have and then add materials as you are able. Some of the lessons use household materials, while others incorporate more specialized artist’s equipment. Please don’t be intimidated by the list! It is meant to serve as a reference, not a requirement. I start with general studio items that are useful to have in your work space, followed by lists of special media for each of the lessons in the book.
