Roger “Buzz” King is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Colorado at Boulder and teaches 3D Animation for the Computer Science Department and the Alliance for Technology, Learning, and Society (ATLAS), an institute dedicated to the application of technology to the arts. He has trained over a thousand animation students and has no intention of stopping.
Buzz has done research in the management of 3D modeling and animation data, and the integration of large volumes of data. He has authored over 60 scientific papers, has been an editor with several major journals, and has served as the program chair for several international conferences.
