How do you document your Arduino project designs?
Learn how to sketch out your electronic designs as schematics and understand how they map to real-world circuits.
Documenting the code that makes up your Arduino programs (known as sketches) is well-understood (to the extent that you follow the established practices for documenting code). If you’re coming from the software world into the hardware world, you may not have any muscle memory for documenting your designs. In this video, Marc de Vinck teaches you the building blocks of electronic design schematics. You’ll learn some of the basic component symbols, conventions for drawing connections, and find out how integrated circuit chips are represented in a diagram.
