The file formats listed here are designed to be installed on your local system. While you can view them here, links to other parts of the product (for example, sample images or vendor specifications on the CD-ROM) will not work.

Data Format for the Interchange of Fingerprint Information

Use to interchange fingerprint data between agencies and to process transactions involving fingerprint data.

Handmade Software Binary Information Files

BIF is used to store header information for bitmap formats that do not have headers.
