Useing unsupported fonts on Win98(i.e. Thai, Hindi, etc.) Now you can type in any language in Word.

Download and install Tavultesoft Keyman, free for non-commercial or non-goverment use. Configure it for the language(s) you want. Download whatever fonts you want for your language(s). Run keyman and type in that font. Keyman must be used every time you want to type in that language.
