To rename a series of files
How to rename a series of files in sequence.

1. Open up the folder that has your files you want to rename.
2. Select the files you want to rename.
3. While the files are selected, right-click and click rename.
4. Type the new name, and than press ENTER.
All of the files in the series will be renamed in sequence using the new name you type. For example, if you type School, the other files in the series will be named School (1), School (2), and so on.
NOTE: Windows XP while retain the file extensions of all the files in the series.
