We probably all hate repetitive things.
And like our grandmas, somebody out there often has a faster/better/easier/cheaper/... way of doing the things we daily do.
So called 'lifehacks' have started appearing on the web :
users sharing best practises, tools and uncommon-yet-deadly-efficient ideas.
A book collecting them would be my true bible.

http://www.lifehack.org/
http://www.lifehacker.com/
I second this suggestion, a nice compilation of lifehacks would be a great book to have.

Check out Mind Performance hacks. It might not be as generalized as a 'life hack' book, but it provides practical examples of putting its methods to use immediately to improve your life's efficiency. Huge upgrade over Mind Hacks, which didn't provide these sorts of real life applications.
