Doing: my_lv = new LoadVars(); my_lv.owner = this; Will throw an error on the owner part as LoadVar's does not have an owner property inherient in its class. Therefore, your technically supposed to write a wrapper class so you can pass a scope parameter in. Thats dumb as hell and should of been implemented internally. Therefore, you can do: my_lv["owner"] = this; And it accomplishes the same thing, except, the compiler doesn't get mad.
