Phil Estes

Bio

Phil is a senior technical leader in IBM's Open Cloud technology team, currently focused on IBM's upstream work in the Docker community as a core engine maintainer. Phil also works with our open foundations around container technology, such as the Open Container Initiative (OCI), and the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). Phil is a regular speaker at industry conferences on cloud computing topics, and has written an O'Reilly research report titled "Open by Design" about the application of open source technology and open foundation governance to the cloud computing industry.
