WebSite Celebrates 5th Birthday
O'Reilly's Visionary 1995 Product Remains a Reality in 2000
Sebastopol, CA--WebSite TM, the award-winning Windows Web server, celebrates its fifth birthday with a series of events from May 15th-June 15th, 2000! That's 5 years and growing--a millennium in Internet time.

WebSite began its life as "the Web server for everyone." With the increasing availability of broadband Internet service, that vision is being realized more each day.

Since the initial launch of WebSite on May 15, 1995, WebSite and WebSite Professional have been hard at work serving up countless of Web pages worldwide. The WebSite Team is pleased to announce a month-long celebration to acknowledge the accomplishments of WebSite; one of the first Windows-based Web servers on the market in 1995-and still growing strong in 2000. Upcoming events include:
