One other command worth noting is M-x mh-version. Since there were a few changes in command letters between Versions 3 and 4, use this command to see which version you are running. This command doesn't exist in versions before Version 4, so the message [No match] indicates that it's time to upgrade (the Section mh-e). In the meantime, use the older commands that are listed in the Table Commands - Comparing Old and New mh-e Versions. The output of M-x mh-version should also be included with any bug reports you send. Mail any praise, suggestions, and bug reports to Stephen Gildea <gildea@lcs.mit.edu>.
