By a "beginner", I mean someone with little knowledge. I've used GNU/Linux for a while, and, whilst I know how to configure a Web server or whatever, I know very little of networking. My company is converting over from Unix operating system (running on HP) to a Linux under GNU. We are running korn shell now, moving over to bash.
I have been in an HP-UX environment for 15 years and am quite proficient in scripting.
My question is would I benefit from buying a Linux handbook/nut shell book?
