Black Monday, 2008 At one point, the stock market fall was so rapid that several financial sites web service update servers were overwhelmed and crashed as people refreshed their browsers second by second to watch the carnage. At the end of the day, the damage was significant - the Dow down 672 points (6.2%), the S&P down 94 points (7.8%) and the NASDAQ down a staggering 200 points (more than 9.1%). In Canada, the TSX closed down 750 points, and it's likely that the selloff in Asia and Europe will be just as brutal.

You are a Natural Born (Visual) Storyteller —
According to Nancy Duarte, author of slide:ology: The Art and Science of Creating Great Presentations, we're often afraid to unleash our natural storytelling instincts because we're afraid to be different, afraid to stand out from our corporate norm. And this leads to presentations that put our audiences to sleep - or worse - fail to communicate the information that we hope to convey. In her recent webcast, You are a Natural Born (Visual) Storyteller, Nancy showed the audience how to infuse life, intelligence, and good design into their presentations. The recording is now ready for viewing.
iPhone Forensics 101: Bypassing the iPhone Passcode —
Jonathan Zdziarski, author of the just-released iPhone Forensics, delivered a much-talked about presentation on bypassing the iPhone 3G passcode, in which he revealed some little known "security" issues pertaining to that device. Most notable was the fact that the iPhone captures and stores screenshots of any place you visit on the web (using your iPhone, of course). The recording is now ready for viewing.
