-- Maria O. Arguello, Main Line Macintosh Users Group (MLMUG)

"I love the way David Pogue communicates with his readers. Always easy to understand & follow."
-- Nancy Pollack, Amazon Reviewer

"Despite the fact that I am a professional photographer doing a good deal of digital work, this book has taught me how much more (there is) to this program than I ever expected. It has great value for the profesional image maker as well as a great place to start for the beginning shooter."
-- Owen P. O'meara, Amazon Reviewer

"The book begins with an overview of digital photography, including how to master the art and craft of taking portraits, capturing performances and travel highlights, getting good nature shots, using a flash, and more...The book is clearly written and can be helpful for both beginners and more experienced iPhoto users."
-- Linda Knapp, The Seattle Times

"One of the beauties of the Missing Manuals is that there is always something new to discover and the research is quite thorough...I kept finding snippets of information, in the way of Tips or Notes, that would give just that bit extra."
-- Graham K. Rogers, Bangkok Post

"iPhoto 6 - The Missing Manual is much more than just a book on the use of iPhoto. It is also a comprehensive introduction to digital cameras and good photography in general...I whole-heartedly agree with the statement on the cover - "The book that should have been in the box.""
-- Robert W. Humphreys, San Diego Macintosh User Group

"There are a lot of good books, but I keep returning to the Missing Manual series because they are inexpensive, easy to read and full of cool tricks and tips."
-- Bob Brooks, The South Bay Apple Mac User Group

"With iPhoto 6: The Missing Manual in your hand, you will be astounded by the features you will discover. Led by the expert tutelage of Pogue and Story, you will gain confidence, laugh out loud, and be well on your way to creating amazing photos that everyone will enjoy. Don't short change yourself by not leveraging all of the power iPhoto 6 has to offer. If you use iPhoto 6 - you need this book."
-- Jonathan Cost, thinkmac.net

"This book is far more than an instruction book on the use of the iPhoto 6 application from the iLife 6 suite. If this is the first time you have picked up a digital camera, it tells and shows you how to take good photographs, step-by-step...[and] don’t underestimate the usefulness of the Table of Contents, the Appendixes and the Index. The thoroughness, attention to detail, and organization evident in the body of this book is also there in these sections. If you want to quickly locate something specific, whether in troubleshooting or getting specific process help (such as how to edit a Smart Album, or how to find the keyboard equivalent to “deselect all”), you will find these sections will get you where you want to go, fast. Whether a beginner, or an experienced iPhoto user, I suggest that you will find this book well worth the price."
-- Don Schaefer, Quad Cities Mac Users Group

"The book is clearly written and can be helpful for both beginners and more experienced iPhoto users. "
-- Linda Knapp, Seattle Times

"I have never seen a manual for any program, hardware or OS which is anywhere close to this series in its helpfulness to the reader. Anyone other than the well trained techs can find this book valuable."
-- Ray Bowler, Vice President, Des Moines Macintosh User's Group

"Right from the very first pages on how best to use your camera and the hints on how to take better pictures through basics of iPhoto and personalizing your “shoe box” of photos, there are very useful procedures for any kind of camera or system you are using...I definitely recommend this book! It is a very useful resource and answers a lot of questions."
-- Barbara Evans, ApplePress, Diablo Valley MacIntosh Users Group

"...unfortunately, as with most computer software (and hardware) these days, iPhoto 6 comes with a very sparse documentation, is essentially consisting of the mediocre and frustrating on-screen "Help" feature. I think back fondly to the eight bound manuals that came with Microsoft Word 5.1, or perhaps more topically to the excellent manuals Apple used to ship with MacPaint, HyperCard, and MacWrite, etc. However, that's what O'Reilly's "Missing Manuals" series is all about, and even as a reasonably seasoned Mac-veteran, I simply can't imagine how Mac-using folks get along without these books...Just as if you are serious about getting the best out of OSX you need Pogue's Mac OS X: The Missing Manual - if you're serious about getting the best out of iPhoto 6 you really need this book. At 395 pages of solid and useful information, it's something of a bargain. You won't be disappointed."
-- Charles Moore, AppleLinks

"I have reviewed quite a number of Missing Manual books and I am always impressed with them. David Pogue is a Mac master and the depth of his knowledge shines through."
-- Roger Bernau, ACT Apple User Group Incorporated

"One of the beauties of the Missing Manuals is that there is always something new to discover and the research is quite thorough...I kept finding snippets of information, in the way of Tips or Notes, that would give just that bit extra."
