"If you are ready to give Web 3D graphics a try, you need WebGL: Up and Running. Parisi’s new book is a well-written “quick introduction” to 3D programming."
-- Si Dunn, Sagecreek Productions

"WebGL: Up and running is an excellent introduction to WebGL with good examples and a nice overview of the technology."
-- Morten Nobel-Jørgensen, DZone.com

"This looks to be a good book if your goal is indeed to get something on the screen fast. It’s readable, and I appreciate his use of URLs to WebGL demos and resources and (properly credited) Wikimedia images."
-- Eric R., Real-Tim Rendering

"Leaping head-first, with no real experience in 3D modeling or animation of any kind, I started reading this book. I hoped that this book, that almost immediately starts with terms like Meshes and Vertices, could help me understand it all, or at leasts the basics." Full Review >

"Posed to reach the promise and fulfillment of prior technologies including VRML and X3D, WebGL is quite simply your best technology 'bet' for the future of the 3D web as it is an extension of core technologies that the enterprise already relies upon : HTML and javascript. Tony Parisi , widely known as an industry veteran within 3D web technologies is the best person to introduce you to this topic. " Full Review >

"Ostatnimi czasy miałem okazję przeczytać bardzo ciekawą książkę "WebGL: Up and Running", której autorem jest Tony Parisi. Książka w całości poświęcona jest nowej technologii WebGL a dokładniej opisuje ona bibliotekę Three.js wykorzystującą ową technologię. "WebGL: Up and Running" w sposób praktyczny wyjaśnia nam podstawy jak i bardziej zaawansowane techniki przedstawiania interaktywnych animacji w przeglądarce. Po przeczytaniu książki będziemy mogli urozmaicić nasze strony internetowe o elementy trójwymiarowe a nawet stworzyć prostą grę 3d." Full Review >

"This book makes it easy to learn WebGL. Although not targetted for advanced users, it made it easy for me to understand WebGL and the three.js library. Honestly, I haven't worked in 3D so most of the concepts were pretty new to me. This book cleared some of the concepts and didn't overwhelm me with complexity. Tony Parisi has definitely taken care to keep it simple and useful. There isn't much coverage on how WebGL works natively and I probably don't need to learn that. What I got out of this book are concepts and more depth on three.js and for a beginner, that's more than enough. " Full Review >
