The section talks about the SNMP set operation.

The sentence currently states:
Objects that are defined in the MIB as read-write or read-only can be altered or
created using this command.

In my opinion the new sentence should be:
Objects that are defined in the MIB as read-write or write-only can be altered or
created using this command.

(write-only instead of read-only)



[305]  last sentence of first (partial) paragraph;
(Either this is a mistake or an explanation of where the "4" came from is in order.)

The sentence refers to interface 4, but should refer to interface 2 (right?):

"In this case, we're polling interface 4 in the ifTable."
should be:
"In this case, we're polling interface 2 in the ifTable."



{310}  2nd sentence in 3rd paragraph;
The first of the two OIDs in the sentence is incorrect.

The OID is incorrectly shown as: 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1.5.6.0

It should be: 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1.5.0
