Insufficient details on the essential and crucial differences between Merge and Object drawing modes, since it is apparent that different modes result in radically different capabilities to modify or make use of the drawn objects. This information, these distinctions, critical to users just acquainting themselves with the product, are woefully inadequate. |

I see that on the confirmed errata that you know the video of the imploding building is not on the missing cd for CS4. I had to hunt around to find it in CS3 cd. Now, when I'd like to import the video from the website, the file apparently doesn't exist, even after searching several ways. It only seems right that you would at least see that the file was on the internet at the suggested location so we could practice "already deployed to a web server,..." when importing videos. I like missing manuels, but this one is buggy - it seems a lot of it didn't get updated from the previous version :-( |

From page 488 on, "Working with Scenes" is confusing (don't know if images need to be recreated for words and buttons). Scenes_start.fla does not exist-- only scenes_begin.fla (also is Flash version 8 ActionScript version 2.0, so certain commands can't be read in ActionScript 3.0, even if publish as is updated. |

I searched for the templates and they don?t exist with my version Cs4 Download. When I searched the Internet I came across a discussion at help.Adobe.com http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Flash/10.0_UsingFlash/WSF3E4AA32-2152-4531-904B-9FD75668ED52a.html |

In the "Adding a Motion Path to a Mask" example, would you please explain why you created the second symbol? I was able to achieve the effect with just one symbol. |

the sample code listings on p463 and p464 does not match up to the code in the sample file, for example there comments in the book version but not in the file version. Also the ordering of sections is different. |

Printed | Page 97 3rd bullet point = "To select an entire frame span.." |
The definition of "frame span" is inconsistent with the definition in p96, Figure 3-7: Legend. and elsewhere. Here frame span apparently includes the next keyframe in the layer, but I don't think that's right. Oh, I see how it can be interpreted correctly now, but a "(but not including the next keyframe)" at the end of the definition would help! |

The image does not match the legend. The image shows a Properties panel showing the properties for a flash document called "Untitled-1" whereas the legend refers to specific properties of a text field, not a flash document. |

Under "Pencil Tool" item 4 on page 66 it states:"...draw little face, hands, and feet similar to the ones in Figure 2-12". The only problem is that Figure 2-12 is missing the face, hands and feet. (Pardon me for being so pedantic but I am an awful artist so any hints would do just fine). |

Printed | Page 191 Section Titled "Moving (translating) objects in three dimensions" |
The 3-D tool in my version of Flash CS4 Professional does not present a series of three arrows joined at a pivot point. Instead, the tool creates a red/green/blue crosshair that can be manipulated to alter the various perspectives. One cannot grasp the point of an arrow to manipulate the object as the text indicates. |
