For the "Function" Cut, Copy, Paste, the book shows the "Windows keys" as Ctrl+X, C, P and the "Mac keys" as Ctrl+X, C, P. Both the Windows & Mac keys should be Ctrl+X, C, V (not P)

errata: "There, under the heading Color Label,..." corrige: "There, under the heading Label,..."

"...described on page 63." However, the techniques to highlight icon/s are not described at page 63 (which talks about stacks), but at page 77-79 ("Selecting Icons")

The Note: box duplicates the Note: box on page 463.

In the legend of Fig. 2-17 one line is missing open the secret...? should it be missing iconshortcut menu?

"... folder icons in the Dock start out 'change' to reflect ..." Improper grammar. Perhaps you meant 'changed' but even this is awkward as "starting out changed" borders on oxymoronic. Better to just reword it.

Clear. Clear gets rid of the you've highlited,... instead of the "the" there should be the subject of the phrase.

The discussion of Mail begins on page 301, not 300.

The first sentence of the Note is gibberish. Perhaps the word "has" has been omitted. If so, more detail is needed after the second sentence.

You state an explanation of right-clicking with a trackpad can be found on pg 467. Horsefeathers. You can find something on pg 468 that seems like it might be it but you have to read in detail to pick up what is trying to be said.

Says in the last line "exactly twice", should read less than 3 times.

Says to find info on page 304 about disability features. Not found on page 304 - or the page before or after that I could see

Awkward wording that makes no sense

you have: Figure 16-9 should be: Figure 16-6

An "equation" must have an "=" sign, like "3+2=5". So, 56*32.1-517 isn't an equation; it's called an "expression". Change the three occurrences of "equation" to "expression".

Comma should be changed to period: you have: "click the Text to Speech tab (Figure 15-16), Here, you..." should be: "click the Text to Speech tab (Figure 5-16). Here, you..."

Add the information that Mac OS X is ALREADY INSTALLED on the computer. after reading this, I thought everything you discussed seemed to already be on the computer but I had been given this CD for Mac OS X as though it were not. Fortunately I have a Mac savvy son-in-law who confirmed that Mac OS X was installed and the CD that came with the computer was only for emergencies. I suggest you add this information for us old folks and non-nerds who don't already know it.

The note at the bottom refers to "Mac OS X: The Missing Manual, Leopard Edition" but the title should be "Mac OS X Leopard: The Missing Manual"

Page 12 - Figure 1.2 caption: misspelled "trackapds"

There is a word missing ('has' perhaps?) in the following sentence: "The Macintosh [has] a Hibernate mode, just like the modern Windows PC..."

In the instructions for getting Firefox's bookmarks directly from a file,there is "choosing Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks". There's no such thing. That should be "Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks", which is how you get to the Bookmark Manager.

"For the official manual on transferring your Quicken data..." refers me to the Missing CD for this chapter (chapter 7). Going to the web site, I cannot find the Quicken info anywhere. I think it is missing and I NEED it. Please correct the book to more easily direct readers to site to find the Quicken PC to MAC transfer and let me know too. Thank you.

The last paragraph under the heading Windows Media Player describes a "free" solution which is to download and install Flip4Mac. I just visited their website; nothing is for free, it is all for sale.

"If you ever need to retrieve files or folders from the older disk, rright-click..." The rright click is the typo.

Text refers to fig. 16-29. No such figure. Likely should be Fig. 16-22. Also, text says "...a portion of the first partition is lightly shaded". No shading in Fig. 16-22.
