Figure 2-6 |
Copy the clips has more MBs than Copy the events. And then in the paragraph below the Figure it suggests in parentheses "(Clearly, this option requires a lot less hard drive space than 'Copy the events')"

Item 9. |
There are inconsistent terms used for recorded narration. Purple stripe is used in some instances while purple "banner" appears in Appendix D. Banner appears to be the correct term. Appendix d shows that recorded narration is not a stripe.

3rd paragraph, 2nd sentence |
An extra "n" appears at the end of the 2nd word after the comma, so it reads "… selection, then then end…".
It should read:
"If the mouse cursor or playhead is behind the beginning of your selection, then the end of the yellow selection border will jump to the playhead."
So just remove that "n".

2nd paragraph, last sentence |
The iMovie menu does not provide the option to update software; that functionality is handled by the Apple menu's "Software Update" choice.
So this sentence should be deleted:
"Alternatively, you can download any updates from within iMovie by choosing iMovie → Check for Updates.

after each chapter number |
It would make it easier to find information if the first page of each "part" (e.g., Part 1, Editing in iMovie") displayed the description of each Chapter, instead of just the Chapter number.
For instance, the first page of Part 1 now begins:
Part 1. Editing in iMovie
Chapter 1
I'm suggesting that it begin:
Part 1. Editing in iMovie
Chapter 1. Importing Video

3rd full paragraph |
In the following sentence, the 2nd word after the comma should be "the" instead of "then":
"If the mouse cursor or playhead is behind the beginning of your selection, then then end of the yellow selection border will jump to the playhead."

1st paragraph |
This is not reporting an error but addressing an omission. At the top of page 44. In large funt it reads "Importing from an IPhonr or IPod Touch". Why isn't the IPad1, IPad 2 nor IPad 3 addressed?

Drop Shadow Section |
I've managed to loose areas of drop shadow in several of my text boxes throughout my movie. I went to page 215 for help, only to realize I don't have all the features in figure 8-12, I remember having the top options at one point. I have the most current version of iMovie. Do these options no longer exist? Maybe I changed a feature without knowing it and removed them? Is there a way I can get those options back so I can keep my movie consistent?
Thank you for your help.
