Since publication of the 1st edition of CRC, Camptosar (irinotecan) has been approved as first-line therapy for CRC; the bullet
for Irinotecan has been replaced with:

Irinotecan (Camptosar, CPT-11) was first approved in 1998 for colorectal
cancer patients whose tumors failed to respond to 5-FU, and was approved in
April 2000 as first-line therapy. Combining irinotecan with other drugs is
now being studied.
